Had a lovely stay at the Arro Khampa, conveniently located at the edge of the old town Dukezong. The decor is eautiful with high ceilings of exposed wood and Tibetan art and pieces throughout the hotel. Service is very friendly with ginger tea on arrival and hot yak milk delivered at 9 pm to your door. Beryl - Arrokampa excels in both facility and service.

Arrokampa excels in both facility and service. Arrokampa is a Tibetan-style mansion, perfectly located in the center of old town Shangri-la. It has 18 guest rooms, which is neither too big to be quiet, nor too small for good service. The rooms and public spaces are spacious and decorated with good taste. The staff is more than friendly and responsive.

Excellent location in Dugezong Ancient Town. My room is facing directly to see the gui shan temple. Service is impeccable and personalized, wonderful memories in Shangri-La. The staff will deliver warm milk to your room every night.

This hotel is delicately designed to what we think will be the liking of travellers who want a peaceful environment after a long journey. It does not has too many rooms but contains almost everything that is needed for a traveller.

The hotel itself has its unique character in terms of the exterior: mostly natural materials were used, it is full of air and light, has plenty of attractive details. The rooms are spacious, modern, with a design twist but at the same time remaining very usable.

Staff welcomed guests with a white scarf (the tradition of welcoming well-valued guests), great-tasting hit ginger tea, and in house grown walnuts. Recreational rooms for guests to cultivate an appreciation for tea making and drinking, Zen teacher to consult and indulge in some solo/ relax time. The room was upgraded to a lovely suite on the second floor. Comfortable bed, cozy room.
